Job Summary:
The Assistant Spa Operations Manager will maintain day to day operations of the spa facility to assure a smooth, five star performance while exceeding every guests expectation every time.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all front office, locker room, juice bar, boutique, housekeeping and public area operations.
- Train, develop and motivate staff to meet and exceed established service standards.
- Create and maintain a professional, safe, nurturing and healing environment where the experience at The Spa at Pebble Beach lends itself to making a difference in our guests’ lives.
- Address staff and guest’s concerns or questions, resolving appropriately.
- Take ownership of any guest or staff related problem and handle accordingly.
- Act as manager on duty for the Spa for the majority of shifts.
- Assure a clean, crisp and sanitary spa.
- Cover front desk, locker room, Juice Bar and boutique on an as needed basis.
- Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.
Required Skills:
- Management skills required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Knowledge of guest service and/or hospitality industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Basic math and accounting skills.
- 1+ year’s management experience.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum 1 year hotel or resort experience preferred.
