Job Summary:

The Assistant Spa Operations Manager will maintain day to day operations of the spa facility to assure a smooth, five star performance while exceeding every guests expectation every time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Accountable for all front office, locker room, juice bar, boutique, housekeeping and public area operations.
• Train, develop and motivate staff to meet and exceed established service standards.
• Create and maintain a professional, safe, nurturing and healing environment where the experience at The Spa at Pebble Beach lends itself to making a difference in our guests’ lives.
• Address staff and guest’s concerns or questions, resolving appropriately.
• Take ownership of any guest or staff related problem and handle accordingly.
• Act as manager on duty for the Spa for the majority of shifts.
• Assure a clean, crisp and sanitary spa.
• Cover front desk, locker room, Juice Bar and boutique on an as needed basis.
• Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

• Management skills required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
• Knowledge of guest service and/or hospitality industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Basic math and accounting skills.
• 1+ year’s management experience.

Desired Skills:

• Minimum 1 year hotel or resort experience preferred.
