Job Summary:

The Floral Strike Crew is responsible for the night-time clean-up of banquet events and all floral shop and storage rooms. Ensures all décor and florals are returned to the proper designated areas. Maintains the quality of all department property and rental items by cleaning and packing away goods and checking for lost and damaged items.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Retrieve all event décor and place back in designated areas: Storage, shop, and production.
• Ensure rental items are properly bagged and placed in designated pick-up areas.
• Help with the daily and weekly organization of storage spaces.
• Log any missing or damaged items into inventory system.
• Communicate with other departments to guarantee a safe and timely strike.
• Keep the trucks and vans clean and gassed.
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be an effective yet positive communicator.
• Must possess good skills in judgement and critical thinking.
• Create a positive work environment for the department.
• Maintain a neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Follows, and integrates Pebble Beach Company culture (mission, values, and standards).
• Comply with the Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.
• Additional duties and tasks may be assigned by the production office.

Required Skills:

• Good telephone skills.
• Ability to safely lift and move large and fragile objects.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule required.
• Valid California driver’s license with 2 (two) points or less.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods and move frequently from area to area. Ability to carry and balance floral arrangements, and other objects. Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
