Job Summary:

The Buss Person clears and resets tables, stocks supplies and assists with all setup and cleanup duties. Stocking supplies and assisting guests and staff as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set tables, including roll ups, flatware, china and centers. Clear table and reset at a quick pace.
• Greet guests immediately upon their being seated and assist servers with beverage orders
• Stock side stations and maintain their order and cleanliness.
• Check out with supervisor or manager prior to taking breaks or leaving for the day to ensure all tasks are completed.
• Check that glassware and silver are clean and polished, inspecting for spots, residual soap and finger prints.
• Stock clean silver and prep roll ups for the next shift.
• Keep ice bins in kitchen, at bar and on floor full, returning ice scoop to proper location.
• Complete all assignments as tasked by your supervisor or manager.
• Pickup items and product from the Lodge Commissary, including perishables, dry goods, wine, beer and liquor orders.
• Check and maintain the stock of glassware and china at the bar, side stations and expo food line
• Carry trays of dirty dishes to dishwasher and unload rack properly.
• Clean up spills immediately, especially around ice bin.
• Assist server taking orders from the guests when necessary.
• Run food from the kitchen to the tables.
• Close side work by cleaning area, re-stocking supplies and refilling condiments.
• Set-up and break down special events or buyouts and buffets, to include moving tables, chairs and other furniture as necessary.
• Set-up food on the buffet table for buyouts, transport food from the kitchen to the buffet.
• Assist Servers as necessary, throughout meal service.
• Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety, health and general policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

• Good communication skills.
• Food safety certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience preferred.
