Job Summary:

The Tennis Camp Counselor instructs and helps kids improve their tennis playing abilities in a non-threatening and fun environment. Must have organizational skills in order to successfully control and direct on and off court activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist Tennis Professionals to instruct and help kids improve their tennis playing abilities in a non-threatening and fun environment.
• Interpersonal skills. Must have good people skills and an outgoing personality. Must feel comfortable interacting with kids and adults.
• Organizational skills. Must have organizational skills in order to successfully control and direct on and off court activities.

Absolutely Required Skills:

• Good people skills and an outgoing personality required.
• Must have some tennis teaching/playing experience.
• Minimum of three years of consistent instruction themselves.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
