Job Summary

The Spanish Bay Club Front Desk Clerk provides the highest quality of service to guests and members by performing retail sales and various functions related to the operation of the tennis pavilions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Position is to work at Spanish Bay Club Tennis and Spanish Bay Club Fitness facilities

· Shifts to include opening and closing shifts:

· Welcome members and resorts guests into facility by writing name, membership card/resort room number

· Answer the telephone and provide information on court availability, lesson availability, SB Fitness Class schedule, etc.

· Post charges for court fees, lessons and retail sales

· Arrange tennis court times and schedule lesson times for members/guests

· Straighten and fold stock, maintaining an orderly and attractive presentation of merchandise.

· Assist customers with purchases upselling merchandise .

· Check-in and price merchandise as directed by manager.

· Maintain the tennis facility and storage areas in a clean and orderly way, by picking up trash, water bottles and towels.

· Perform locker sweeps to include picking up soiled towels, emptying trash, rinsing shower stalls, etc.

· Assist with inventories

· Folding of towels for member/guest use

· Bicycle rental procedures – interacting with guests

· Replenish coffee and tea supplies at coffee/juice bar areas—keeping area clean and presentable

· Placement of pool cover and whirlpool cover .

· Blow/sweep with broom tennis courts of leaves

· Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Repetitive hand use and firm grasping is required.
